Using Cedar Fair Gift Cards

Where can I use a gift card? What can I purchase with a gift card?
Cedar Fair gift cards may be used to purchase select goods and services at participating retail, dining, hotel and other locations throughout your chosen Cedar Fair park. Some exclusions apply.

What are the exclusions for Cedar Fair gift cards?  Some locations within Cedar Fair parks do not accept gift cards. For a full listing by park, click here. 

If I buy one gift card, can I use it at any park, regardless of the design on the front? Yes, any gift card can be redeemed at participating locations of any Cedar Fair park, with the exception of Canada's Wonderland. For example, if you purchase or receive a Kings Island gift card, it can also be used at Cedar Point and vice versa!

What if my purchase amount is greater than the value available on the gift card? If your purchase is larger than your balance, ask the cashier to swipe the gift card for the exact amount available on the card. You can pay the remaining balance with another accepted form of payment.

Can a gift card be used to apply a tip to a bill? No, Cedar Fair gift cards cannot be used to apply a tip to a bill.  Please use another form of payment.

Can I purchase park tickets and admission with a gift card? Yes, Cedar Fair gift cards may be used to purchase admission in-person at the front gate of Cedar Fair parks.

Can I use a gift card for a stay at one of the on-site hotels?
Yes, Cedar Fair gift cards may be applied toward room nights and other goods and services at select on-site hotels at Cedar Fair parks. Some exclusions apply. Click here for a complete list.

Can I use Cedar Fair gift cards for online purchases?
No, Cedar Fair gift cards are not redeemable online at this time.

Can I use a Cedar Fair gift card to purchase additional gift cards?
No, Cedar Fair gift cards cannot be used as payment to purchase other Cedar Fair gift cards.

Can I redeem a gift card for cash?
No, Cedar Fair gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash.

Can I return a gift card and get a refund?
No, Cedar Fair gift cards are not refundable.

Can I return a product I purchased with a gift card?
Products purchased with Cedar Fair gift cards are subject to the return policies of the locations where the products were purchased. Please contact your park with further questions regarding returns and exchanges.

Cedar Fair gift cards can be purchased at participating retail, dining, hotel, guest service and other locations throughout Cedar Fair, and online at www.cedarfairgiftcards.com.

What forms of payment are accepted for gift cards?
Cedar Fair gift cards may be purchased at Cedar Fair parks and online with credit or debit cards.

In what amounts can I purchase gift cards?
Gift cards purchased in the park and online are available in denominations between $20 and $500.

Are gift cards reloadable? How can I reload or add value to a gift card?
No, Cedar Fair gift cards are not reloadable at this time.

Can I purchase digital gift cards?
No, digital Cedar Fair gift cards are not available at this time.

Delivery of Cedar Fair Gift Cards Purchased Online

Where can I have a gift card shipped?
Cedar Fair gift cards purchased online can be shipped domestically and internationally to any valid street address. Shipping rates vary by destination. We cannot ship to PO Boxes at this time.

How long does shipping take? Please allow up to 5-7 business days for the delivery of your gift card order, depending on your shipping destination. Note that international shipments may take longer.

Can I expedite my gift card order?
Cedar Fair gift cards purchased online can be expedited. Available shipping options will appear at checkout. Shipping rates vary by destination. 

Can I send a personal message to the recipient of a gift card?
Personal messages are not available at this time.

No, Cedar Fair gift cards do not expire.

Are there any service or dormancy fees associated with the gift cards?
No, there are no service or dormancy fees associated with Cedar Fair gift cards.

How can I check the balance on my gift card?
Cedar Fair gift card balances may be checked at any physical location where Cedar Fair gift cards are sold or by www.cardbalance.net.

Can I keep my gift card after I have used it?
Absolutely. Cedar Fair gift cards can be kept as souvenirs.

What should I do if my Cedar Fair gift card is lost, stolen, or destroyed?
Cedar Fair gift cards cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. Please safeguard your Cedar Fair gift card like cash.
